1) Monument "Prosvita"
The Monument "Prosvita" is situated in a small park of Lviv behind the Carmelite Church. There are benches in the park where you can sit to admire this beautiful monument. It features a high column with a crown at the top, and at the lower part of the column there is a statue of a woman and a boy. In 1982 a monument to communist writer Alexandre Gavriluk was destroyed in the 1990s. The present monument "Prosvita" has been standing there since 1994.
2) Monument to Ivan Fyodorov (must see)
The Monument to Ivan Fyodorov represents a massive statue of Ivan Fedorov with a book in his hand, because Fyodorov is part of the history of Ukraine as a one of the fathers of Eastern Slavonic printing. He also contributed much to the development of printing machines. He published religious books, alphabet books and the Ostrog Bible.

3) Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is a beautiful and unique monument to liberty in Lviv. It is set on the dome of a house that was constructed in 1870 - 1890. The statue was designed by the same master that made the famous Statue of Liberty from New York.
4) Monument to the Virgin Mary (must see)
On Svoboda Avenue-- popular with tourists and beautifully decorated with flowers-- you will see the Monument to the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus. The place where the statue is located is also called the Square of St. Mary. The statue is a tall figure of Mary with a sacred crown over her head.
5) Adam Mickiewicz Monument (must see)
The Monument to Adam Mickiewicz, also called Column, is located on the square with the same name on Svoboda Avenue. Adam Mickiewicz was a great national poet of Poland, Lithuania and Belarus. He is one of the most outstanding Slavic poets alongside with Pushkin. His monument is a historic and cultural landmark in Lviv. The monument is 21 meters high, the figure of the poet is 3.3 meters, and the top of the column is decorated with golden fire flames.
6) Stepan Tudor Monument
The Stepan Tudor Monument stands on Malanuk Square in Lviv. Stepan Tudor, whose real name is Olexuk, was a Soviet and Ukrainian writer and a doctor of philosophy. He was a communist activist of the time. He died in Lviv on the first day of the Great Patriotic War - 22 of June, 1941.
7) Monument to the Victims of Communist Crimes
The Monument to the Victims of Communist Crimes is situated in Bandera Street in Lviv. It is a historical memorial to the millions of innocent people who became victims of the Soviet power and Stalinist regime. The memorial is placed to remind people of those times of despair and hopelessness so that kind of tragedy never occurs again. Fresh flowers are often put at the foot of the monument.
8) Glory Monument
The Glory Monument is a memorial of the victory over Nazism in World War II. The large monument, located in the Cultural Park of Lviv, was established in 1970. There are several statues made from granite and bronze in the figures of a soldier, a pilot and others.
