3) Hasanuddin Street
Hasanuddin Street is a great shopping street for the people who are fond of jewelery, and gold in particular. Many Denpasar inhabitants call the street the Gold Market area. Hasanuddin is full of shops on both sides of the street selling precious metal items as well as modern cheap jewelery. All the stores in this area offer items made from eighteen and twenty-two karate gold. Beside trendy jewelry shops, Hasanuddin Street hosts many local metal manufacturers standing in front of the boutiques and selling objects for a cheaper price.
4) Jalan Sulawesi (Sulawesi Street)
Sulawesi Street, or the Fabric Street, is a street full of fabric shops and independent vendors. It is a favourite shopping spot for many visitors as well as locals, especially during traditional celebrations and festivals, when the participants wear clothes made from special fabrics. The multitude of shops offer an incredible choice of colorful silk, organza, cotton, batik and other materials. Some of them are local, and some are imported from abroad.
5) Pasar Badung (Badung Market)
Pasar Badung is the grandest market in Denpasar. It is organized on three big floors, and all the offered products are arranged by category. The outside area of the market is reserved for fruit and vegetables. The first floor offers a big choice of seafood from the surrounding cities specializing in fishing.
