Patronato and Bellavista Walk, Santiago

Patronato and Bellavista Walk (Self Guided), Santiago

Shop, dine and enjoy the beautiful colors in the streets of two of the most picturesque and popular neighborhoods in Santiago. Start off your tour in the very cosmopolitan Patronato neighborhood in the district of Recoleta. This is a great shopping location, especially for those looking for clothes and fashions but who don't want to spend a fortune.

Familiarize yourself with the creations of Chilean designers when you browse the original boutiques on El Manzano Street. Then make tracks for Santa Filomena and Patronato Streets for shops selling women and men's clothing and other items, such as bags and jewelry.

As its name suggests, Bellavista is a picturesque neighborhood, one of the prettiest in the city. Many artists live and work here and the area is also a nightlife hub once the sun goes down. Explore some of Bellavista's cultural heritage in the Casa Museo La Chascona, the former home of poet Pablo Neruda. This part of Santiago also boasts a number of theaters.

For food and dining, there is lots of variety in the neighborhood. In Antonia López de Bello Street, find supermarkets and numerous Asian restaurants. Enjoy the pubs and restaurants on Pio Nono Street which also has some good souvenir shops. There are more restaurants and pubs as well as some performance spaces over on Patio Bellavista in Constitución Street.
