Bom Retiro Shopping Walk (Self Guided), Sao Paulo

During your time in São Paulo be sure to wander around the top shopping hotspots of Bom Retiro, an inner city district known for its plethora of fashions shops. Stay up-to-date with what's causing a stir in the current Brazilian fashion scene and pick insights into what's round the corner in the following seasons.

Bom Retiro is a vast collection of busy streets filled with small independent shops, mostly selling women's clothing, shoes and accessories. But the men and children haven't been forgotten about, because there are shops that cater to their clothing and fashion needs as well. The variety of styles and clothes is huge and the prices are often budget-friendly.

Whilst in the vicinity, you will most likely come across Rua Jose Paulino, the neighborhood’s main avenue, and a very popular street for shopping. And small wonder. There are approximately 400 shops stretched along its length with some selling the latest fashions from China at cheap prices and high quality Brazilian clothes.

Bom Retiro may not be a world center for cutting-edge fashion, but its shops are filled with a mixture of everyday clothes, gorgeous outfits and fascinating looks. Leading off Rua Jose Paulino are several side streets that are also lined with fashion shops.
