Wiener Weihnachten – Viennese Christmas, Vienna, Austria
Zuerst wünsche ich euch auf diesem Weg ganz Frohe Weihnachten, ein besinnliches Fest mit euren Liebsten und erholsame Feiertage! Obwohl das Wetter nicht allzu winterlich war (also eh klassisch weihnachtlich), ist es in Wien unmöglich dem Zauber der Weihnacht zu entfliehen. Bevor ich mich für zwei Wochen in den Sommer verabschiede, nutzte ich die Gelegenheit die Stadt noch in all seiner festlichen Pracht aufzunehmen. Und falls ihr bis jetzt noch immer nicht in Weihnachtsstimmung seid – spätestens nach diesen Fotos der schönsten Plätze und Märkte packt euch die Lust am Fest. Und wenn nicht, dann hilft auch kein Weihnachtswunder Los geht’s mit dem Adventmarkt auf dem Karlsplatz!
First of all, I’d like to wish you a merry Christmas and happy holidays with your loved ones! Although the weather hasn’t feel like winter yet much (hence typical Viennese Christmas weather) it’s impossible to escape the spirit of Christmas here. Before I’m heading towards summer for two weeks, I took the chance to soak in the city in all its festive glory. So if you’re not captured by the Christmas spirit yet – have a look at those photos of Vienna’s most beautiful markets and places.
