As I mentioned many times Florence is a very beautiful and very big city that you can really struggle to visit if you are time limited. You cannot explore it all in one go…or maybe you can if you spend there over one week. But if you dont have that time, try not to do too much in a day or two which you dedicated for Florence as you can spoil the visit. If you want to have good memories from Florence and not miss out of the great experiences it offers I think I can help out here…I have been in Florence 4 days and i have seen almost the whole city with a very packed and active plan. And I can confirm each place is worth a visit and wonderful! But it is impossible to do it all! I had to miss out on few things and I had to visit some places very quickly. So in order to do it properly with the time limitations, use my List of Top 10 Things You Need to See in Florence. Even following them is a time struggle but they are a MUST!
1. Obviously the Uffizi Gallery which is the most famous Florence museum and one of the best in Italy. You can admire there the world’s largest collections of works of art. The most famous artists whose work is being displayed are: Botticelli (Birth of Venus, La Primavera), Giotto, Beato Angelico, Filippo Lippi, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Dürer, Rembrandt, Rubens.
