Stretching 24 kilometers connecting the northern end of Singapore with its southern end, the iconic Rail Corridor has evolved into one of the local Singaporeans’ most favorite city walks.

As its name aptly suggests, the Rail Corridor once operated as a train path connecting Singapore into the peninsular Malaysia from as early as the 1932. While the train is now defunct, it has recently been rejuvenated as a pedestrian walking path for members of the public.

The Kranji suburb is located at the northern part of Singapore, and with the train route now defunct, it is now served by a bus connecting to Malaysia. The Kranji area has its own charm, almost akin to a countryside, and is definitely worth its own exploration as well!

Located at 9 Woodlands Road, the Kranji War Memorial is erected in dedication to the lives of thousands of allied troops who passed away during the war in defense of Singapore and Malaya against the Japanese troops during the World War II.

The Mandai Park Connector is a scenic jogging route which connects members of the public to jog along the Central Catchment Reserve. The park connector links from the Ulu Sembawang Park Connector towards the KHatib Bongsu Park Connector. This beloved park connector is even considered as one of Singapore’s five gazetted Heritage Roads.
