The capital of Andalusia in southwest Spain gets more than 300 days of sun per year and is (arguably) the eternal resting place of Christopher Columbus. This park and plaza serves up a good ‘ole one, two punch when it comes to awesome things to see in Seville. One can easily spend an entire afternoon just walking and wondering through the 100 acre Maria Luisa Park, stocked to the hilt with fountains and monuments. Even better is the stunning Plaza de Espana. This jaw-dropping plaza built in 1929 for the Worlds Fair is part Art Deco, part Mudejar, and a 100% don’t miss.

This plaza located in the Arenal district just west of the city center dates back to 1854. Called ‘The Main Entrance to the City’, this plaza is surrounded by amazing architecture and is where you can find the giant monument to Fernando III of Castile.  ......
