Phnom Penh is the capital city of Cambodia. Its located in the junction of Mekong River. Three days in the bustling city will allow you to have enough of sight seeing.
Its easy to converse with people in English, however knowing few words of Khmer would certainly be appreciated.
Most of the nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival to the Kingdom of Wonder, however its strongly recommended to check your entitlement beforehand. Its advisable to obtain an E-Visa, a week before starting your trip.
A taxi from the airport to Wat Phnom or the Riverside will cost $9 and pretty much everything else is $12. However, they will try and give you a $12 ticket regardless, so if you are going to the Riverside say $9 and ask for the yellow ticket, there is no extra fee for additional passengers or baggage, or to drive during the rush hour or night time.
Within the premises of the terminal tuk tuks are also available for the set price of $7. If you’re looking to save some money, you can take a short walk to the main road outside the airport and get tuk tuks to the town for about $5. ......
