Veganism is definitely spreading in Amsterdam! From having spoken to several locals, it seems that there have been a lot of new vegetarian and vegan options popping up around the city lately, something which just never really existed in the last five or ten years. So, despite being the de facto capital of the Netherlands, it doesn’t yet have a huge range of fully vegan eateries. What establishments that do make up vegan Amsterdam all offer good quality food, and are each nice places to visit in their own regard, whether you’re after vegan food or not.
