Nuevo Circo de Caracas is one of the largest structures in the city, and it was opened in 1919 as a venue for bull fights. It is so huge that it can accommodate up to 12,000 spectators at a time. Over the years, the amphitheater was also used as a large cinema and a theater. In 1984, it was turned into a museum and today offers guided tours for groups and individuals.
